VitriMat - needle and stitch-bonded mats

For thermal insulation, we are offering a portfolio of needle mats for every temperature range. Needle mats are mechanically bonded fleeces, made of high temperature textile glass fibres. 

Vitri®Mat - types: 

  • Vitri®Mat E   up to 600° C
  • Vitri®Mat ECR   up to 750° C
  • Vitri®Mat Si   up to 1.000° C
  • Vitri®Mat AES   up to 1.200° C 

If necessairy, there are stitch-bonded mats available (additionally strengthened/ high-density needle mat).

All Vitri®Mat products meet the conditions of the classification of carcinogenic material, to be released according to Note Q in Directive 67/548/EWG (replaced by directive (EG) 1272/2008).

Available thicknesses:

  • needle mats: 3, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25 mm
  • stitch-bonded mats: 6, 10, 12 mm

Available weights:

  • needle mats: 400 - 4.500 g/m2
  • stitch-bonded mats: 1.500 - 2.900 g/m2
